Very interesting to watch one of the most popular Cologne Carnival songs translated into Sign Language.

iDom
Köln (Cologne) is the fourth-largest city and one of the oldest cities in Germany. (Roman name: Colonia Claudia Ara Agrippinensum) It’s inhabitants are very proud of the Kölner Dom (Cologne Cathedral). Maybe this passion for the Dom has to do with the complicated construction of the Cathedral: lots of political and monetary ups and downs prolonged the building process so that it took over 600 years to be finished!
The People of Cologne always feel very connected with their Dom, most recent proof is the iPhone App ‘iDom’ which allows you to have a look at the Cathedral via live-stream from a webcam.
JeckApp
Karneval (Carnival) in Köln is considered as the fifth season which starts November 11th, 11.11h and ends at Aschermittwoch (Ash Wednesday). It’s one of Europe’s biggest street festivals and during the official Straßen-Karneval (Street Carnival) between Weiberfastnacht (Women’s Carnival) and Aschermittwoch the normal life in Köln stands still.
The JeckApp comes with ‘De jecke Tastatur’ (the crazy keyboard) which plays Karneval sounds and songs and the ‘Schunkelbarometer’ (Schunkeln: sway left and right), meassures your Schunkel-ability (mine is obviously bad cuz it tells me ‘Dat wor Dress- That was shit’
)
